Since the start of hostilities, more than 25,000 people from Ukraine have come to Transnistria, many of them with one backpack.
The Chairman of the Jewish Community of Moldova supported the initiative of the Chairman of the Jewish Community of Bender Mark Finkelzon and transferred the first part of the aid to Transnistria.
Assistance from the Jewish Community of Moldova consisted of two parts – financial support and part of the humanitarian cargo from Israel.
With financial support, the Jewish Community of Bendery bought in addition what was not in the humanitarian cargo. As a result, the two communities assembled a truckload of humanitarian aid – baby food, kosher food, food with a long shelf life, hygiene products and other essentials. We’ll be posting the second part next week!
