"Hillel" is the largest international Jewish student organization. Main goal of Hillel is to engage Jewish youth in the process of Jewish life revival, to nurture new generation of Jewish leaders, to study Jewish history, religion, tradition and culture, to enhance formation of Jewish identity among young Jews, implementation of programs aimed to promote spiritual development of young people in both education and culture.
More than 500 "Hillel" centers are active throughout the world including United States, Canada, Israel, Latin America, Australia, Europe. 27 Hillels are working in the former Soviet Union: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

Today Hillel represents entire diversity of the Jewish world. Hillel is active in voluntary and social projects; it has a rich artistic and cultural life. Students actively participate in community life of their cities, carried out a big variety of projects; they learn and teach, celebrate and create. Any student is free to come to Hillel. "Hillel" does not belong to any political movements or religious movements, thus ensuring full freedom of expression for everyone.
Hillel gives students an opportunity to meet with their peers from other cities and countries, interesting seminars and trips to the CIS countries, Israel and the United States. With Hillel students are able to enjoy joint educational projects and work with students from the U.S., Canada, UK, and Israel.
Hillels are an integral part of the Jewish communities of their cities, one of the active participants in the process of Jewish communal life revival. In close cooperation with other Jewish organizations, Hillel volunteers cover work with all the segments of population from preschoolers to seniors.
"Hillel" programs involve thousands of students and their families. Programs are the engine of Jewish revival, they give students the opportunity to find their way into Jewish history and tradition, build their Jewish home.
The main goal of "Hillel" is to nurture a new generation of educated Jews, proud of their heritage. Youth is the future of any nation and the main task of Hillel is enhance the opportunity of Jewish people to have a decent future.
