2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Accessing and using the jcm.md website implies unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund Policy, which together constitute the entire agreement between the user and P.A. Jewish Community of the Republic of Moldova. If the user does not agree with these terms, use of the website must be discontinued immediately.

P.A. Jewish Community of the Republic of Moldova reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website following the publication of changes implies acceptance of those changes.

3. DEFINITIONS
In this document, the following terms have the meanings indicated:

Website: the web platform owned and administered by P.A. Jewish Community of the Republic of Moldova, accessible at jcm.md, through which the user accesses information about the organisation’s activities, events, projects, and ways to provide support.

Website Content: any materials or information published on the website in any form, including texts, photographs, graphics, audio or video materials, and downloadable documents.

User: any natural or legal person who accesses the jcm.md website regardless of the purpose of access and who has accepted these Terms and Conditions.

Donor: the user who makes a financial donation through the jcm.md website using any of the available payment methods.

Subscriber: the user who has given explicit consent to receive the periodic newsletter of P.A. Jewish Community of the Republic of Moldova.

Payment Service Provider: the authorised third party that processes financial transactions through the website, namely BC Maib SA through the MAIB eCommerce service, MIA Instant Payments, and PayPal.

Abusive Use: use of the website in a manner contrary to industry practices, applicable norms and legislation, or in any way that could cause harm to P.A. Jewish Community of the Republic of Moldova, its partners, or third parties.

4. PURPOSE OF THE WEBSITE
The jcm.md website is made available to users for informational, educational, and cultural purposes, to present the activities, projects, and events of P.A. Jewish Community of the Republic of Moldova. Through the website, users may make online donations, subscribe to the newsletter, and contact representatives of the organisation.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All content on the jcm.md website, including but not limited to texts, photographs, illustrations, graphics, logos, videos, and audio materials, is protected in accordance with Law No. 139 of 02-07-2010 on Copyright and Related Rights, published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova.

The name, logo, and visual identity of P.A. Jewish Community of the Republic of Moldova are the exclusive property of the organisation and may not be reproduced, copied, distributed, or used in any other manner without the prior written consent of P.A. Jewish Community of the Republic of Moldova.

Partial reproduction of website content is permitted exclusively with express attribution of the source (P.A. Jewish Community of the Republic of Moldova, jcm.md). Reproduction of photographs and audiovisual materials is permitted exclusively with the prior written consent of P.A. Jewish Community of the Republic of Moldova.

Any unauthorised use of website content constitutes a violation of intellectual property rights and may result in civil or criminal liability in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Moldova.

6. ONLINE DONATIONS
Through the jcm.md website, users may make financial donations to P.A. JCRM using the following available payment methods:

  • Visa or Mastercard bank card through the MAIB eCommerce service, provided by BC Maib SA, a credit institution authorised by the National Bank of Moldova.
  • MIA Instant Payments — an instant payment service available to holders of bank accounts in the Republic of Moldova.
  • PayPal — an international electronic payments platform.
  • Direct bank transfer to the account of P.A. Jewish Community of the Republic of Moldova, published on the website.
  • The donor may choose the donation amount. All donations are used exclusively to support the community, cultural, educational, social, and memorial projects of the Jewish community of the Republic of Moldova, in accordance with the statutory objectives of P.A. Jewish Community of the Republic of Moldova.
  • P.A. Jewish Community of the Republic of Moldova does not store donors’ bank card data. Card payment processing is carried out exclusively through the secure platforms of payment service providers, certified in accordance with the PCI DSS standard.

7. NEWSLETTER SUBSCRIPTION
By completing the subscription form on the jcm.md website, the user gives explicit consent to receive periodic messages from P.A. Jewish Community of the Republic of Moldova regarding the organisation’s activities, events, projects, and campaigns.

Newsletter subscription is voluntary and free of charge. The user may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any received email or by sending a request to office@jcm.md. Unsubscription is processed within a maximum of 5 working days.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
P.A. Jewish Community of the Republic of Moldova makes every effort to ensure the accuracy and currency of the information published on the jcm.md website, but does not guarantee that it is complete, accurate, or current at all times.

P.A. Jewish Community of the Republic of Moldova is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the website, including technical failures, service interruptions, unauthorised access to data, or data loss.

P.A. Jewish Community of the Republic of Moldova does not guarantee that the website is free from viruses or other harmful elements. The user is responsible for taking appropriate measures to protect their own computer system.

9. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the legislation of the Republic of Moldova, in particular by the provisions of the Civil Code of the Republic of Moldova, Law No. 105/2003 on Consumer Protection, Law No. 139/2010 on Copyright, and Law No. 133/2011 on the Protection of Personal Data.

Any dispute arising from or in connection with the use of the jcm.md website shall be resolved amicably. In the event that amicable resolution is not possible, the dispute shall be submitted for resolution to the competent courts of the Republic of Moldova.
