Open letter from the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu

The last months have been very difficult for all of us. We worked, opened our hearts to meet people, were there, helped and supported everyone who faced the consequences of the military actions in Ukraine and humanitarian crisis.

It is important to realize that there are many like us, and that our work not only benefits, but is also appreciated by the country’s leadership.

Our joint efforts, dear members of the Jewish Community of Moldova, were appreciated by the President of the Republic of Moldova, HE Maia Sandu. The letter of gratitude is published below.

We would like to remind you how important it is our joint work and friendship, which benefit those in need and make our community even stronger and more united.
